At the arvika festival me and my pal was stopped by some crazy people who worked for some new community that was about to be launched. Anyways, they gave us 2 t-shirts and asked us to put them on and jump. We both agreed on that IF we could keep the t-shirts. And we could.
It's been a while. But hey, wtf. Anyways, I'm back from the Arvikafestival, if you don't have any clue about what that is, click here. It's the best festival there is. Electronic music all the way, just how I like it. When I got back from Amsterdam I had one day to clean my clothes, buy food and get some alcohol before my departure the day after. But now I'm back after 5 DAMN muddy and wet days, that's also been filled with superb music played by some of the worlds biggest and best artists. I managed to see The Magic Numbers, Infected Mushroom, Pluxus, The tough alliance, Hocico, Frozen Plasma, Apotygma Berzerk, Rongfa and Slagsmålsklubben. Although I planned to see like 10 more but I fell asleep like 3 times per day because of the damn weather(and the mud!).
Now I'm looking forward to the Way out West festival that's coming up in August. I'll keep the blog alive anyways with some fun stuffies that probably is coming up.
I've been here for a week and tomorrow I'm going back to Sweden. My time in Amsterdam has been interesting, it's a damn nice city with alot of cool and weird people, there's no doubt about the fact that there's alot of things to do here but I couldn't see myself living here. It's too tight, it has way too many people living here(everywhere!), way too many bicycles, too dirty and the language is so strange. Not to mention the potheads, junkies and whores(sluts) that the streets are packed with. There are even people standing in the streets playing bagpipe begging for money?! This is a cool place to go to for partying and drinking good beer with a bunch of good friends and 1 week is good enough for me. Now it's time to go home and spend some time with my beautiful girlfriend before I go to the Arvikafestival(woho!). More about that later.
Yeey, now it's time for Mikki to step into the spotlight. Mikki is the cute little dog who lives here with the people I'm living with.
For those who don't know, Amstedam is packed with these bad-ass-looking ducks/gooses and today we fed them with some moldy bread. That's about it for today, tomorrow I'm going home(YES!).
At the gig I met this crazy dude and I have to write something about him because he sure deserves it. I found him sitting a couple of metres next to me while I was waiting for the gig to begin and of course, because of the beer(!), I had to say something to him. So, I said YO BITCH! and he said YOOO HOMIE! Then we spent the following hours spending our heineken-coins and dancing our arses off to the gig.
Anyways, Dean lives somewhere here in Holland, goes to as many gigs he can, alone. And drinks more beer than no other living being can.
Today, we went out for some partying at one of the Bulldog clubs. We came in, it was packed with people, we got a beer each, drank it. Ordered a redbull vodka drink, drank it, ordered 2 more beers, left the beers on the table and walked home.
Yesterday I was at Daft Punk's gig at the Heineken Music Hall here in Amsterdam. And jeez, was it cool or what? The Knife's gig at the Arvikafestival last year was NOTHING against this. This was totally unbelievable. I had already seen the videos on YouTube from their earlier shows but I never could've imagined that it was gonna be as sick as it was. Totally fucking amazing.
This is not about me, it's about the blog. It's really not about what I do, it's just about what's happening in my life. And, it's something that makes the time pass by so much faster when you're bored on your vacations. When I say 'it' I mean the blog, allright.
